October to March is the best time for most of India, with cool, dry weather ideal for Rajasthan, Delhi, and Agra sightseeing. Himalayan pilgrimage routes like Chardham and Do Dham Yatra typically open in April/May and close by November due to snow. Kerala and South India are pleasant year-round outside peak monsoon (June–September).
